AMANDA TWR (Transient Waveform Recorders) DAQ 2002/2003

AMANDA TWR (Transient Waveform Recorders) DAQ 2002/2003

The following waveforms were created by a program written by Thomas Feser. It displays information acquired by TWR and muon DAQ. The verticle lines are leading edge (red) and trailing edge (green) information given by the muon DAQ. Superimposed with the proper time offset is the waveform collected by the TWR. The horizontal yellow line shows the calculated baseline (or zero) of the TWR waveform.

The first image shows quite a bit of structure in the waveform. The data sample was from one of the String 18 flasher runs, which deposits a relatively large amount of light in the AMANDA-II array.

The next two graphics show waveforms acquired for normal M=24 triggers.
